A circular walk in the tributary valleys of Cardinham Water to the remains of the Bury Castle hill fort where the ramparts are still over 14ft high even after more than 2000 years. It was fine for dogs – some roads but they were very quiet. There was the usual issue of having to lift her over a couple of stiles so large heavy dogs may have problems. Lots of sheep about so we used the lead quite a bit but it was still a very enjoyable walk. The cool of the woods and the river were great for dogs to cool down in.Cardinham and Bury Castle was last modified: July 8th, 2019 by The Canine Directory
